March 2018 Wallpapers & Folder Icons

Hello Friends!

I am SO excited to be sharing these March 2018 Wallpapers and Folder Icons with you. I’ll be honest – after two years of making new monthly designs, I’m always worried that I’ll run out of inspiration. But, once I get started (and take a little browse on Pinterest), I find that there is always something new I want to say. Whether it’s a color scheme, a motif, or a quote, I always find inspiration somewhere!

This month’s designs are a fun combo of retro and modern. The shadowing on the “march” script reminds me of 80’s design, while the floral wallpapers remind me of vintage paper wallpaper! However, the neon/millennial pink color scheme is decidedly modern. I even recycled a quote from last year’s March designs because it’s one of my favorites!

With Spring just around the corner, I needed all these bright colors! Even the dot icons have the additional pop of a colorful outline. If you’ve been decorating your desktop for a few months, you probably have all the neutral folder icons you could ever need, so consider this your Spring Update! Personally, I’m already using the Audrey Hepburn quote wallpaper with the floral folder icons 🙂

Unsure how to change your folder icons? Check out my simple video tutorial here. If you want to mix and match these designs with those from previous months, then check out the Decorate Your Desktop page here!

I hope that these March 2018 Wallpapers and Folder Icons help you get organized for the month ahead. Every time I go to update my wallpaper at the beginning of the month, I take a moment to organize the desktop clutter into neat folders. Customizing the folder icon is definitely an extra step, but it always makes me smile! Heading into a new month with a fresh desktop gives me a brighter outlook. My goal is that these designs inspire you for the upcoming month too!

Happy March!

Your desktops and icons are gorgeous! My screen display is a little bigger than your images (at 1440 x 900) so I can’t use them stretched to fit as they pixelate 🙁

Hello Kylie! Did you click the download boxes to download the highest-res images? Those are formatted at 1920×1080 px, so they should not pixelate on your screen. Do NOT right click and save image – as those images will be tiny! Let me know if you’re still having trouble!
