I found you last month and have been looking forward to you releasing the newest wallpaper and icons! I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to open up my computer and see my fun, fresh desktop each day. The quarantine has been a struggle lately, and your designs have added a ray of sunshine to my world. 🙂
This month I am having trouble applying the new icons to my folders. They aren’t updating with the new colors…they still show June’s icons. I have tried several times, using several of the icons, on several different folders. I’ve reread the instructions and watched your tutorial again. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Do I need to remove the June icons first and start with the plain blue folders first? If so, how do I do that?? Thanks again!

Hi Kate! I am so glad that the wallpapers and icons have added a little joy to this quarantine!
Sometimes, I do find that I have to remove the old icon (it will return to the generic blue folder) and then add in the new one. To do this, you go to “get info”, click on the folder icon, and “cut” (control x). You will have to then re-copy the new icon and paste it in.
I hope this solves your problem! It happens to me occasionally and I’m not sure why. But it usually works if you can get it back to the generic blue folder.
Feel free to email me if you have more problems – my email is on the contact page.
      Happy July!
