Why, hello!
I hope your March is off to a bright start! Today’s post is a fun tradition here at WBT. Putting together a wish list is always a favorite activity of mine (as you can tell from my previous wish list posts). My hope is that, through sharing them in a blog post, you might also find something fun to put on your own wish list! Whether you have a birthday coming up or not, a lot of these items are perfect “just because” gifts to give yourself for no reason at all. Treat yo’self!
Let’s get right into the list!
To Add to the Never-ending List of Books To Read
Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon
After hearing Nicola Yoon speak at Wordstock last fall, and learning that her book Everything Everything is being made into a movie, this book has been on my to-read list.
The Last of August by Brittany Cavallaro
This is the newly released sequel to A Study In Charlotte (which was on my birthday wish list last year). The series follows Charlotte Holmes and Jamie Watson, descendants of Sherlock Holmes and James Watson, as they solve mysteries surrounding their families, classmates, and themselves! I loved the first book, and can’t wait to read the sequel and catch up with Charlotte and Jamie.
By Your Side by Kasie West
I don’t know about you, but I love a good cheesy romance. And it doesn’t get much cheesier than two students from opposite worlds being accidentally locked in the school library. I’m imagining a mix between the Breakfast Club and that episode of Dawson’s Creek where Pacey and Joey get locked in a Kmart. Needless to say, I’m excited to read this book!
Craft Party!
Lists by Faith Devotional Kit from Illustrated Faith
This Illustrated Faith Devotional Kit is designed by Cori – The Reset Girl. I love all the supplies included, and I know that I’ll enjoy the listing devotional written by Cori. I’ve found that the supplies are so versatile, that they can be used to create completely unique Bible Journaling entries.
Tab Punch – the blue one
I’m obsessed with tabs. I admit it! They’re so cute when added to journaling pages, my planner, my journaling Bible, snail mail, dividers, and I’m sure, if I had a tab punch, I would find even more uses 🙂 The blue version of the punch is the most classic tab shape, although there are other colors that punch slightly different tab shapes.
Martha Stewart Scoring Board
Despite my hesitancy to have another bulky craft tool to store, this scoring board seems like a great multipurpose tool. I’ve watched Carla De Taboada create some amazing envelopes and folders with it, and it seems like one of those things that once you have it, you can’t live without it!
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
A pair of block heel sandals
I still haven’t found the perfect pair, but I’m convinced to find a pair of block heel sandals for the spring and summer. How cute would they be with a pair of cropped jeans and a tee shirt? Instant outfit. The ones pictured are from Sam Edelman and CL by Laundry in case they catch your eye 🙂
Drive Me Crazy DVD
I’ve been meaning to add this movie to my DVD collection for ages. It’s one of my favorite movies, and the perfect thing to enjoy as a birthday treat. If you like teen movies, romantic comedies, or makeover montages, then this movie is for you.
And friends, that’s it! My 2017 Birthday Wish List. Isn’t it funny how a wish list says so much about a person?! I feel as though this list is me in material-object form. I hope that this list has brightened your day, whether it prompted a little online window-shopping or an addition to your very own wish list.
