Planner Pages feat. Studio Calico Savannah Kit

planner pages!

When my Studio Calico Planner Kit comes in the mail, I know I’m going to have a blast putting it to use. I’m a sticker girl, so receiving a bundle of cute stickers and other things in the mail every month is a dream come true.

This month’s Savannah Planner Kit included a gorgeous color scheme of warm-toned reds, pinks, and oranges, and then a pop of icy-blue. It’s so perfect for February and I couldn’t wait to use it.

The best thing about having a planner kit? Everything already looks so cute together, all I have to do is stick it/stamp it/tape it down!

I started with the ombre washi on the outer edges of the paper. It immediately added a pop of color and I love the ombre effect. Then, I just start laying down some stickers! From the large gray page flags to the semi-sheer hearts, I tried to keep a balance of colors on both pages. I also used my favorite alphabet stamps to mark the month and my posting days, and then I colored the letters in with a light blue Tombow Marker (I keep finding more uses for these markers!).

I also used some of the gray flag washi to mark important to-dos (although I mostly just wanted to try it out). One of my favorite parts of this spread is the pencil, which I stamped and then colored in, again, with Tombow Markers. I love the way that the heart stickers look layered over each other too.

And then there’s the strawberry sticky notes… How cute are those?! I want to remember to watch Leap Year this weekend (as it’s one of my favorite Rom-Coms AND Monday is Leap Day), so I decided to place it in the corner as a vibrant reminder.

I really love the way this spread turned out. I never would have paired together the bright, warm colors with the pastel, cool blue. But it’s such a fun and fresh combo that’s perfect for this time of year. I always love the moment when I place the pages back in my Studio Calico x Hello Forever Planner and close the binder rings – the bright melon red and B&W polka dots always add an extra dash of fun!

Is it bad that I already can’t wait for next month’s kit?! Of course, I will continue using this one and my stash of past kits to decorate in the mean time, but I’m always so inspired by their new products and ideas.

If you have any questions about this planner spread, feel free to ask in the comments! I’d love to know what your favorite planner supplies/techniques are too, so join the conversation!
