Hello friends!
You probably noticed that I didn’t post much this month… like, barely at all. On Monday, I shared some Wallpapers & Folder Icons for September, but other than that I’ve been pretty radio silent.
The truth is, I love Whatever Bright Things. When I’m not blogging, I feel off. I feel like I’m not myself. But, I’m also not sure WBT as it is now is what I want it to be. What I dream it could be.
I think WBT is going through its awkward teenage years.
It has outgrown its old clothes, and it’s just waiting for those braces too come off before it can truly shine. It’s still trying to figure out exactly who it is, but it’s getting closer.
Whatever Bright Things has only been around for just over a year, but it’s amazing how much can change in a year. Just check out this old version of WBT and you’ll see what a difference a year makes! So much of blogging is self-taught, and I’m figuring it out as I go. The more I learn, the more inspired I am to push the boundaries, to refine my brand, to try new styles and topics and forms.
I’m going to try to get back into a regular posting schedule, but I also want to make time to turn this space into everything it can be – everything I dream it can be.
As I keep trying to make Whatever Bright Things brighter, I want to thank you for your patience and support. Whether you’ve been following since the beginning or are a new reader (hello!), thank you.
There might be a few changes around here in the upcoming months, but I hope you’ll like them.
What do you think? Are you excited to see some changes, or do you like WBT just the way it is? Let’s chat in the comments!
