It’s been a little while since I’ve done a make-up post, so I thought it was about time I shared some of my favorite nail polish colors for fall. In the autumn, I like to incorporate richer and darker colors into my wardrobe, and the same goes for my nails.
One of my new favorites is Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel Polish in Midnight Mod. It’s a beautiful navy blue shade that goes with anything. I love the formula and wear of this product too – it lasted a full week chip-free, and I was tearing open boxes and plastic bags that whole week! I also used the Miracle Gel Topcoat that added a glossy finish and an extra layer of strength.
I also love the Maybelline Color Show Polishes – I have both Dust of Bronze and Wine and Forever in the photo. These polishes are affordable (only $3), and I think that they’re great quality for that price. The Dust of Bronze is a metallic gold – much like the Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Shadow in Bad to the Bronze if you’re familiar with that. Wine and Forever is a gorgeous deep red that is perfect for fall.
Another affordable option is the Wet & Wild Megalast Polish in Wet Cement. It’s an interesting color that can look purple one moment, gray the next, and then beige. I think it’s a great neutral shade that’s not too “blah”. I also really like the wide brush that comes with these polishes – it makes application quick and easy.
My last fall favorite is more of a top coat/statement nail polish. Revlon named it “Rebel Graffiti” and the name fits – it’s a clear polish with chunky black and white sequins. I wore it over the Wine and Forever polish and it looked a bit like tweed! I think it’s a great way to add texture and little extra fun to your nails. Like any glitter/textured polish, it is definitely not fun to remove, but I think it’s worth it.
I also included my “Foxy Lady” nail file from Bath and Body works because I think it’s cute 🙂
What are your favorite fall nail polish colors?
