Cowabunga! It’s been a bit of a gray summer here in Portland, so I’ve been dreaming about sunny days on the beach, blues skies, warm sand, the smell of salt water… I could go on! These August Wallpapers & Folder Icons are inspired by the beach and the surfer lifestyle. It’s not just about the sea breeze or the sunscreen, but the relaxed vibe that comes along with a day at the beach. Because if you can’t really be at the beach, you can at least be there in spirit with a fun desktop wallpaper.

I kept to a pretty neutral color palette with just a pop of aqua blue and sea-foam green. And if you’re not necessarily into that beach life, the August Calendar Wallpapers feature a classic font for a more polished look.
