Hello Friends!
With November just around the corner, I’m here to make My NaNoWriMo Announcement! Before you get all excited that I have some kind of secret surprise, I don’t. I’m simply announcing that I’m going to be participating in NaNoWriMo again this year.
I think that part of what made my NaNoWriMo a success last year was accountability. By announcing my goal here – on the internet where everyone can see! – I’m making myself accountable to all of you. I’m making a commitment that I’m going to write 50,000 words of a novel this November, and by inviting you to be part of the process, I know that I’m not alone in my journey.
This year, I’m going to be drafting a new YA Romance that I’m calling Lena and the Crashing Wave Otherwise Known as Dougie. Long title, I know, but it feels right for now. I’ve been planning and plotting for a couple of weeks, and I am so excited to actually start writing. If you’re interested in learning more about the story and the inspiration behind it, click here!
