March Weekly Planner Pages

My planner is one of my favorite places to experiment with new crafting techniques, lettering, and colors. Sometimes, that experiment goes wrong in so many ways that you just cringe through the week until you can turn the page. Sometimes, the experiment works out and you’re left with a beautiful, unexpected spread.

Luckily, this week, I had an experiment of the second variety. I wasn’t sure where it was going, but I really love how it turned out.

I knew that I wanted to use the “I’m So Organized” sticky notes, so I built the color scheme off that. I loved the look of the orange/coral stamp pad and polka dot washi, so that added in a pop of color to an otherwise neutral color palette. I also used navy blue and gray stamp pads and pens to add a little more depth without getting too wild with color.

I had a lot of fun layering stamps (like the “Think Big” at the top of the page) and creating pattern with stamps (like the honeycomb on Tuesday).

Sticky notes are a great way to break up the page and add color. I’m fine with having blank spaces, as I plan to add more weekend to-dos to this list as the week goes on.

I also love to use washi-tape to create colorful flags and arrows. I used a few stickers on the right page of the spread, but washi works just as well to add pops of color and draw attention to important event and to-dos.

What colors are you loving as we transition from winter into spring? I thought the subtle mint-green and bright coral-orange were the perfect combo for this time of year as the flowers start to bloom.

Wishing you all a bright weekend full of creativity and rest!
