Hello friends!
I hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day and/or Galentine’s Day earlier this week. Having finally figured out a camera/lighting/editing set-up, I am SO excited to start sharing more video content with you.
First up, I have a Journal With Me video featuring a sweet little entry in my Ban.do Agenda that I use as a creative journal. The idea behind this journal is similar to visual journaling (see my posts on visual journaling here and here), but with more focus on recording daily life. I’ve been using a planner as a creative journal because it helps eliminate the pressure of a blank page. Having a small little space for every day makes journaling less intimidating!
As I mention in the video, this entry isn’t complete, as the week isn’t over yet! But I thought I’d share how I decorate the week at once for a cohesive look, and then journal as the week goes on.
Let’s jump in to the Journal With Me!
Here are some photos of the in-process entry. Click on each photo for a closer-up look!
And that’s it! I’ll finish the journaling over the weekend, or maybe even Monday morning. As long as the decoration is already there, it’s super easy to just add a bit of journaling and call it done.
If you’re interested in the supplies I used in this journaling entry, here’s a quick list:

Thanks for stopping by WBT for this Journal With Me! I hope the video inspired you to get creative, whatever project you’re working on or starting at the moment.
If you love journaling, let me know what your favorite journaling type is in the comments below! Do you like to add doodles and creative elements? Or do you stick to words to illustrate your thoughts?

Love your video! Whenever I see what you do with your planner, journal, or artwork, it makes me want to try it too. Thanks for the inspiration! What size hole punch did you use to attach the journal card?

Thank you so much, Amy! I used a normal sized hole punch, it’s just a small, portable one 🙂 I’m so glad this journal entry inspired you – it’s always fun to see how others decorate their journals & planners, and then make it your own!
