Hello Friends!
When Studio Calico announced that they were discontinuing the planner kit, I’ll admit – my heart was a little broken! If you’ve been following WBT for any amount of time, you’ll know that I was a HUGE fan of the planner kit (just check out the planner archives and you’ll see!). But after a while, I realized that I collected so many planner goodies over months of kits that I could decorate my planner for years to come!
And so, when Studio Calico asked me to switch over to creating with their new Traveler’s Notebook Kit, I was excited to try something different. I’m not usually much of a memory keeper, but the TN size is such a manageable format! I have started trying to take just one photo when I’m out and about so that when it’s time to document, I have a few photos to play around with. The TN Kit has been such a fun change for me, that I thought I’d show you some of the pages I created with the August Kit!
Carpe Diem
I like when there’s a simple page paired with a busier page. The photo is from Pinterest – the perfect inspiration for the inside cover of this insert!
I used the Stamp Subscription Set to create the right page with just one stamp!
The washi strips add a perfect pop of color.

A title, a few embellishments, and a single photo – that’s all this page took!
Inspired by the Escape Room itself, I added in a playing card and washi tape “string”.
A tiny bit of journaling and this page was done!

If you’re in the same boat as me – just getting into the memory keeping thing – I’d encourage you to try to take just ONE photo on your next outing. Maybe it’s a photo of your coffee cup, or even just a screenshot of the weather forecast on your phone! Work with what you have, and have fun documenting it with paper.
