It’s less than a week until NaNoWriMo begins! If you don’t know what NaNoWriMo is, check out my blog post here, or the NaNo site for more information. If you’re joining me on this novel-writing journey, I’m so glad to have your company! It’s going to be a wild ride.
In preparation for November, I’ve been busy planning my novel with an outline, notes, a playlist, a Pinterest Storyboard, designing a cover (!) and working on character development. But I know that sticking to my daily word-count goal is going to be a big challenge. If I skip just a few days, I could have 10,000 words to catch up on! And that does not sound fun.
To keep myself on track, I wanted to include my NaNoWriMo word count schedule in my planner. I hope that when I see the goal everyday, I’ll be reminded to write, write, write! So I created some planner stickers that include my goal and my actual word count, as well as a little motivational phrase on each day to give myself a little extra nudge.
If you’d like to download my printable word-count planner stickers, you can find them here. You can print them out on sticker paper, or simply print them on paper and cut & paste the old-fashioned way (get out that glue stick!). Or, you can also just print the document and use it as an all-in-one-place schedule.
Good luck to my fellow writers! I’ll be posting updates weekly throughout November, so be sure to check back in and let me know how you’re doing.
XOXO
p.s. If some of the numbers look off, know that I rounded up the daily word count. One benefit: you’ll have 10 fewer words to write on the last day!
