Hello friends!
I have my Christmas music playing, cozy slippers on my feet, and I’m excited to share my 2016 Christmas Wish List with you! I hope that this list gives you some ideas for your own Wish List, or maybe even a gift idea for a friend.
Let’s just get straight into the Wish List!
What Light by Jay Asher
I recently attended a Literary Conference and got to hear Jay Asher talk about his new book, What Light. It’s a Contemporary YA romance about a girl whose family owns a Christmas Tree Farm in Oregon, but they move to California to sell their trees every winter. It sounds like the perfect Christmas read!
2017 Fashion Illustration Wall Calendar by Alison Gordon Studios
A wall calendar is a must-have for me! While browsing online, I stumbled across this gorgeous calendar by Alison Petrie of Alison Gordon Studios. With whimsical fashion illustrations and beautiful lettering, I fell in love with this calendar! It would be an amazing functional art-piece to hang in my room 🙂
Studio Calico Planner Inserts, vertical
For 2017, I’m planning ( 😉 ) to keep using my Studio Calico Hello Forever Planner in Melon. However, I’m going to be COMPLETELY out of inserts, so I need a replacement set! These inserts have a vertical design, which I’ve never used before, but I thought I’d try something different. I love making lists, so maybe I’ll fall in love with the vertical design!
ESV Journaling Bible
I’ve been wanting to get into Bible Journaling for a while now, but I just haven’t gotten around to buying one! This ESV Journaling Bible features 2” margins for writing and single-column text. I’ve seen others using this Bible for creative journaling on Instagram, and it looks like the perfect Journaling Bible to get started!
Illustrated Faith Devotional Kit: How He Loves Us
Illustrated Faith and Bible Journaling go hand in hand – they’re one of the major companies producing Bible Journaling supplies and devotionals. Out of all the kits in the Illustrated Faith Shop, this one caught my eye with the fun stamp set, washi tape, and bright pink ink pad. As I try my hand at Bible Journaling, I think this kit will be the perfect starter kit!
Mildliners
Can you ever have too many pens? I’ve seen these Mildliners around Instagram, Tumblr, and the Planner Community forever, and I think it’s time I made a set part of my collection. The idea behind Mildliners is that they’re mild-highlighters. So, instead of bright neon colors, these highlighters are a slightly mellower version, with a more subtle look. I would love to use them in my planner, journaling bible (when I get one!), and notebooks.
And there you have it! My Christmas Wish List for 2016. Let me know what’s on your Wish List this year in the comments below 🙂

You are so inspiring. I hadn’t seen the mildliners before, but they’re in my Amazon cart now! I am also excited to see your bible journaling. I have admired all the pics I see on Instagram, but I’ve been too scared to try. I look forward to seeing your progress and hearing your tips. Thank you for always encouraging me to stretch and try new things!

Don’t the Mildliners look like fun?! They’d be perfect for bullet journaling too. I can’t wait to see how you use them 🙂 Thanks for always leaving such kind comments – you inspire me to keep sharing!

A great list, perfect for journaling. I just about have everything I need (for now anyway), probably be a different story next week when I see something I want xx

I know how that goes! As long as you’re using up what you have, I don’t see a problem with buying more 🙂 (Enabler alert!) Thanks for commenting, Kerry!
