September 2018 Wallpapers & Folder Icons

Hello Friends!

Is it just me, or does the start of school make you feel like it’s time for a fresh start? New school supplies, new clothes, new friends – there are so many memories of newness that go alongside starting a new year at school. Even though I have been out of school for a few years, that fresh-start feeling never goes away!

This month’s wallpapers are inspired by the idea of starting over. With a playful quote from Winnie the Pooh, a graphic ABCs wallpaper, and a desktop organizer, these designs will help you start fresh for the fall.

Check out the September 2018 Wallpapers & Folder Icons here!

The color palette for this month’s designs is very autumnal. With an apple red, pumpkin orange, and cocoa brown, these September 2018 Wallpapers & Folder Icons will help you transition into fall in style! I love the idea of using a different folder icon color for each class you are in, or each project you’re working on. Color coding is a great way to stay organized!

Once again, I have created a handful of phone wallpapers that coordinate with this month’s designs. Be sure to head over to my Instagram Story Highlights to snag these new wallpapers. I personally love the cornflower blue calendar!

Hi! I love these! Thank you so much for creating and sharing them!

Have you ever heard of someone changing a desktop icon on a Mac and then not being able to change it for a second time? I changed my icons to some of yours, but I can’t seem to be able to change them again to something new. Just curious.

    Thanks again!

      Hi Theresa!

I’ve found that sometimes, when there is already a custom icon being used, you have to “cut” out the old (ctrl x) before pasting (ctrl v) in the new one.

Let me know if this works for you! I have had the same problem before too.

Thanks for your support! November Wallpapers coming soon ?

Thanks for getting back to me! It did work, but I had to restart my computer. If I can figure out how to clear the clipboard, then I *think* I should be able to change icons without restarting. I also considered just creating a new folder, moving everything from the old to the new, and then changing the icon. It’s a small hassle for a big reward. I would have never guessed that changing my desktop icons would be so fun! Thanks again!
