Mermaid Planner Pages!

Mermaid Planner PagesThis week’s planner pages are a bit different for me – less stamping, more stickers! And I also decided to photograph this spread BTP – before the pen. It really lets you see how I pre-decorate my week, and where I leave blank space for daily to-dos and plans. Before I write too much more, let’s get into the Mermaid Planner Pages!

At a recent planner meet-up I attended, I purchased these BEAUTIFUL Shimmer Mermaid Stickers from the lovely Aimee, owner of the You Gotta Craft That shop over on Etsy. I’m not usually one to go all out with decorative stickers, but this week I just wanted something cute and fun. I realized that these sparkly mermaid stickers matched my Little B Solid Washi Tapes and… this spread happened! I also added a glittery swan sticker from her French Rivera Sticker Sheet. (P.S. The Little B Washi Tapes I used are 022 Pink, 034 Blush Pink, and 050 Aqua)

I also used some elements from the Studio Calico Pool Party Planner Kit (which you can check out in last week’s planner post) – like the gold dot washi, phrase stickers, and the blue & gray arrows. The only thing I stamped was my “WRITE” & “READ” boxes, as this is the last week of Camp NaNoWriMo. And finally, I used some metallic gold alphabet stickers to spell “JULY” and “weekend”.

I love the mixture of everything metallic, sparkly, and glittery with the plain, solid-colored washi. I think it creates a nice balance of color and shine. I’ve also been really into layering washi lately – I love the way you can see the gold dots through the teal & pink washi. It’s a fun way to add texture and depth. I might have to pick up a few more colors of the Little B Washi… 🙂

I hope this post inspires you to add a bit of sparkle & shine into your planner this week! Be sure to visit Aimee’s Shop and check out all her fun stickers, planner accessories, and kits. Who knows, I might be turning into a planner sticker-er after all!
